My xbox got the E74 error several months ago and I haven’t been able to play it since. I already sent in my first xbox to get it repair for free (it had the 3 RROD) and microsoft sent me a very crappy arcade xbox (i had the premium) which always had the E74 error and officially crapped up in february to the point where I can’t play it. I heard that as of April 2009, E-74 RROD errors are free to fix for 3 years warranty. But the thing is, is that I don’t have warranty, I didn’t buy any for my first 360, which was about 2 years ago. Also I sent in my old 360 for crap 360, which counts as one time. I called microsoft last year and they said it would cost $150 for repair. Can I send in my 360 for free repairs even though I already used there services once? (in which they let me down and left me thinking I should sue, because the 360 they gave me kept messing up, E-74 error and it was the arcade version) even though I didn’t buy any warranty or do I automatically have 3 year warranty?
They gave me this crap360 last june of ’08
NEVER MIND I JUST CALLED 1800 4 MYXBOX AND EVEN THOUGH I DONT HAVE WARRANTY THE E74 THING IS STILL COVERED, SO PROBLEM SOLVED =)
